Mental Health Care
Calm, structured support for adults living with anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other long-term mental health needs.
Learn moreSimon Adult Family Home in Everett offers gentle, individualized care in a warm family setting — specializing in mental health and dementia support, with caregivers who speak English and Amharic.

Simon Adult Family Home was founded by Genet Tesgye after years of caring for elders who deserved more than a clinical bed and a numbered door.
We're a small home — three private bedrooms — because that's the only way we know to do this well. Our caregivers learn each resident's favorite mug, their stories, the songs they hum without realizing. Mental health and dementia care are at the heart of what we do, but the soul of this home is much simpler: a place where someone you love is genuinely known.
Genet and our team speak English and Amharic, prepare meals that feel familiar, and welcome family at any hour. We're a five-minute drive from Providence Regional Medical Center.

Learn more"My mother has dementia, and finding a place where I trusted she'd be treated like a person — not a diagnosis — was the hardest thing I've ever done. Genet and her team don't just care for my mom. They know her. They know she likes her tea steeped four minutes and that the song from her wedding makes her cry happy tears."
