Genet Tesgye
Founder & Lead Caregiver
Genet has spent years caring for elders and people with mental health conditions before founding Simon Adult Family Home. She brings deep clinical knowledge, fluent English and Amharic, and the kind of warm patience that can only be learned by doing this work for a long time.
She built this home around a simple idea: every resident deserves to be genuinely known by the people who care for them. She lives that idea every day.
Our care team
Trained, Trusted, And Steady.
Every caregiver at Simon meets Washington State training requirements for adult family homes — and goes beyond them. Mental health, dementia, medication management, CPR & first aid, and de-escalation are all part of our regular training. Bios for additional team members will be added as the home grows.
